Visit from Gram and Grandpa

This time Gram and Grandpa stayed with AL and Bobby... so we went over there to spend time together. Here are some pics.

I love my cousin Ash... even though she got tired of my kisss... and sometimes we fight over toys.
We played Ring around the Rosey.

I REALLY didn't want to take a picture with Gram and Grandpa. We tried several times, but I was mad.
So instead, Ash got to be the model!

Finally Grandpa got me to smile.

I love you Gram and Grandpa... I'll miss you on Thanksgiving.

The Best Milestone Yet!!

Today, I completed the phrase, "I love you!"

It's something I've been working on for a while. I got the hand motion for love (crossing my arms across my chest) and the motion for you (pointing) down a few weeks ago. Then I started saying "love" and later added a quick "I" to the beginning.

But... tonight... as Mommy and Daddy were putting me to bed, I completed the entire thing, complete with ALL words and hand signs. "I LOVE YOU!"

A lesson in potty training.

Though we may WANT to try...

...sometimes we're just not ready.

Shootin some hoops

Gram and Grandpa brought me this basketball goal when they came up. I didn't have a basketball that fit right, so last weekend we went to Toys R Us and got a smaller one. I've been practicing! Watch out AL... meet the NEW b-baller in the family!

I can hang on the rim already...

... and of course, give new meaning to "nothin' but net."

Light Up the Night 2008

Instead of celebrating Halloween, our church hosts an annual event called "Light Up the Night" since we believe we should be a light to the world. Here I am with my Sunday School teacher, Miss Susan. I love Miss Susan, though you can't tell it from this picture.
Oliver and I are in Sunday School together.
We had to wait in line to get into the toddler bounce house. The football field was filled with people!
It took me a few minutes to get going in the bounce house, but once I did- I had SOOO much fun. I kept jumping on top of these musrooms cause I'd bounce off, falling on my back... I'm funny.
We ran into the Slates and I got some lovin' from Minnie Mouse.
We had to stop for pictures at the photo spot... but there was a line so we didn't really time to capture a "money" shot.
Then it was off to play a game.
Even though I was tired, hot and cranky... Mommy and Daddy still let me stop at the fire truck and meet the firemen. They let us go inside the truck and everything, too!
