Four Month Check Up

Guess what I got to celebrate my fourth month of life? FOUR SHOTS! Ouch. I did pretty good, though. I've actually been acting better today than I did after my two month shots and they were exactly the same.

Anyhow- Dr. Yok said I look pretty darn cute (duh!) and that I'm a good baby (double duh!). I weigh 14 pounds 10 ounces and am 25 inches long. I'm holding steady in the 50th percentile for weight and just about the 75th percentile for height.

This afternoon we went to visit our friend Tracy in the hospital. She's on bedrest until she has her baby Blake. Please keep praying for baby Blake because I really want to get to play with him. He might be really sick when he is born and will probably have to stay in the hospital for a while but I'm really praying that God will allow me to have a new friend and make baby Blake well.

This Weekend- Family Fun at NRH2O

We had a busy weekend! Aunt Pat, Uncle Larry and Cousin Cheney came to visit me on their way to meet Grandma at the family reunion in Oklahoma. We went to dinner on Friday with all of them plus Laura, Bobby and Ashtyn. Then on Saturday morning, I decided to be a really early riser- all on my own. We went to breakfast with the Weirs and then to Target. Later on in the evening we went shopping at Babies R Us and got snow cones. (Well- I didn't get any, but Mom and Dad did.)

Sunday after church and a nap we went to NRH2O. It's a little water park in North Richland Hills. Mommy and Daddy got season passes so they could take me there. Mom and I went by ourselves this past Wed. but Daddy got to come with us on Sunday. We had fun in the lazy river and then in the pool connected to the kiddie pool. Daddy said it was probably like swimming in a toilet, but I still had fun. (Plus- I spit up all in the pool so I really can't complain if other people peed in it.)

I get to wear a lifejacket sometimes at NRH2O. It makes it easier for me to float on my back in the lazy river and gets me used to wearing one so I don't throw a fit when I HAVE to wear one (like this week when I go out on the boat - hint hint Gram and Grandpa!) So far the life jacket doesn't seem to bother me... mostly I just like to eat it!

Today I went over to Aunt Miriam's House. I got to visit with Laura, Ashtyn, Whitney, Dane, Great-Great Aunt Miriam, Gracie, Great-Great Aunt Dorothy Belle and Grandmother. We went swimming.
I was pretty cranky because it was time for me to take a nap.

Then I fell asleep in the pool! I was pooped. Well... figuratively- evidently it was ASHTYN who literally pooped.... and I missed it!

Sometimes when I wake up from my naps, I decide not to let Mommy know right away... On this particular day, Mommy came in to sneek a peek and to her surprise- not only was I wide awake... but my feet were up where my head started out. I had all ten toes poking through the little holes in the blanket.

I was bouncing my legs up and down on the matress. I was grinning from ear to ear and started giggling when I saw Mommy.

Happy Father's Day!

My Daddy is the greatest Daddy ever! He makes me laugh all the time... I just giggle and giggle. Daddy likes to call me "Mini-Me"... whatever that means. I think it's because everyone thinks I look just like him. Part of it is that we have matching haircuts. Here's a picture of me and my Daddy on his very first Father's Day ever!

A visit from Grandma (the Great)

Grandma came to visit me this weekend! (Mommy's Grandma- she's really my Great-Grandma, but I call her just Grandma, too.) She was on her way to the family reunion in Oklahoma, but stopped to stay with us for a few days. She helped out a lot- taking care of me so Mommy and Daddy could work out in the flower bed. She had the magic touch and could make me fall asleep just about anywhere!



Of course, every time I changed clothes, Grandma wanted a picture... but who wouldn't? I'm so darned cute! This is my Monkey outfit our friends (the Slates) gave me.

Me at 15 Weeks

I'm getting so big, but I'm still a pretty skinny dude. This was the first day I wore my denim shorts. Because my waist is so little, my shorts used to fall off of me but now my booty is big enough (especially with a full diaper) to hold them up.

This week I visited Grannie at the hospital when she had a stint put in her kidney. Don't worry- she's fine, but I provided a good distraction for Grandad and Aunt Leslie.

After that, I went to visit Aunt Laura and Cousin Ashtyn. Grandma and Grandmother were both over there and I got spoiled. They gave me lots of kisses and squenches. I LOOOOVE to Cuddle!!!

I went swimming for the first time! I really loved the water, so Mommy and Daddy got season passes to a small waterpark in the area. This way, we can go swimming whenever we want. YEAH!










I had my surgery on June 5 to fix the chordee... and then I got circumcised! YOWCH! The good thing is, my pee goes a WHOLE lot further now.

I went to a birthday party ay Let's Jump. Mommy took me down the slide.
