Babyfit Playdate!!!

When my Mommy was pregnant with me, she started chatting with other ladies who were due the same time as me on this crazy website. Everyone made fun of her, but pretty soon even AL was asking Mommy to post questions. The ladies on the website really helped Mommy during her pregnancy. Now, almost two years later, she still goes on and chats about things I'm up to... you know, making sure I'm "normal" (Like I can be normal with parents like mine!). ANYHOW- Saturday evening, we were able to meet up with another Babyfit Family. Caleb is just a couple of weeks older than I am. His Mommy and Daddy (Michelle and Josh) came in from Oklahoma for a get away weekend. I'm so glad we got to meet them. It was tons of fun... even though we BOTH had long days. I was kind of a grump butt, but I got happy later on once I had ice cream. Ice Cream always cheers me up!
We weren't quite sure what to think of each other at first, but once we got outside we started playing.
Here we are with our Mommies. Caleb and Michelle, Mommy and Me.
Babyfit Daddies!! (They are the ones who make fun of our Mommies' "internet friends" but I think they were both relieved to find out that the others weren't serial killers.)
Babyfit Boys... Thatcher (that's me) and CalebCaleb had snacks... I wanted some.So I took some. What? What's wrong with that? Don't worry... he tackled me just minutes after this picture was taken. :)CalebME

Our busy Saturday

We went out for breakfast on Saturday and then PLANNED on going to the Gaylord Resort for some event they had, but it ended up not starting until a lot later... that meant we drove around for a long time before arriving at the park. This was how excited I was by that time--

Daddy by the CreekI did wake up and walked to the park with Gram and Grandpa.Grandpa took me down the slideI'm brave enough to go by myself now.I stole Ashtyn's ballThe park was really hot... so we went to McDonald's to play. Mostly AL was playing at first.Grandpa bought us a BIG strawberry shake.Smiling with my ALPlaying with MommyGram kicked out the mean big kids so we could play together. After attempts to crawl up the slide, Mommy took me through the jungle gym. Here I am way up high looking out. I liked banging on the glass and listening to the echo.Finally... out the bottom. We had a great day with Gram and Grandpa. I'll be down their way in just a couple of weeks! I can't wait.

All About Ash

Since I have the greatest cousin in the whole world (even if she IS a girl), I thought I'd dedicate an ENTIRE post to the wonderful ASHTYN... my cuz.

Ashtyn calls my Gram and Grandpa the same thing I do... but she calls AL Mommy and Unca Boobie Daddy. Then she calls MY Daddy Unca Mike and MY Mommy Double A. I'm so very confused by all of this! In spite of this, Ash is still just Ash! That I DO know.

A visit from Gram and Grandpa- backyard play

Well, Gram and Grandpa came into town this weekend for a "grandkid" fix. Naturally, LOTS of pictures were taken so there are way too many for me to post on my blog. I'll do the best I can in chopping the weekend up into simple chunks for your reading pleasures. These pictures are from yesterday. Gram, Grandpa, Unca Boobie, AL and Cousin Ash all came over. We went to dinner and then played in the back yard. Ashtyn does the slide all wrong! She actually tries to crawl up the rock wall. Of course, my plan in going UP the slide is much easier. I tried to show her the ropes, but she kind of got in my way... and well, I had playing to do!
First, I push my way down the slide... Ash came down after me and actually tried to crawl back up the slide before me!! Can you believe that girl?!?!
Of course, she didn't go fast enough... so I just crawled OVER her.
Gotta move it or lose it girl!
Happy to be at the top again (See- Ash cheated and went up the side with Gram's help plotting against me. It's a conspiracy, I tell you.)
In from playing, time to get cleaned up and take a bath... I have an "outie." Ash has an "innie." We're both modest.
A bed time story with Grandpa.
Stay tuned for more pictures from this weekend....
