A thing of the past....

... well, today at lunch Mommy and Daddy discussed the fact that we may no longer go out to eat after church... thanks to ME! Remember the temper tantrum post? Well... for the past, oh six weeks or so, I've strategically timed my temper tantrum meltdown with lunch. Today I REALLY performed. I screamed and screamed. When snot rolled down my nose and they ignored my screams, I screamed louder. I even won. I got to sit on Mommy's lap... until I knocked over her water. Then I had to go to the bathroom. Funny since I wear a diaper. Well- going to the bathroom means I get in trouble. I got a spanking (again- I wear a diaper- lotta good that does!) and had to sit in time out. Yes... on the bathroom floor. Isn't that disgusting? In any case, Mommy may be asking for good "leave in the oven" recipes for Sunday lunches.

Oh, Thatcher, you are the gelatin mold of your Daddy. We got to where we did not want to eat out until he got older.

Well, we've been lucky so far, Cassidy hasn't had many meltdowns yet, and not in public. I'm sure it's just a matter of time. Of course, we haven't been out to eat since Jax was born . . .

two words: early service

Granted it's not exactly lunch time when we get out, but I don't mind because we just go to Panera or something, I could have bagels and coffee all day any day!

P.S. Did you just admit to spanking, I'm reporting you to the authorities, jk! Guess I should report myself first ;)

oh yes...spanking's the only thing that really gets through to M. and restaurant meltdowns are the WORST!

i've begun doing a lot of cooking saturday nights or just getting the crock pot ready saturday night so all we have to do is plug it in on sunday morning. i just posted a good teriyaki chicken crock pot recipe, as a matter of fact!

it's soooo nice to come home and not have to cook on sundays.

Thatch has to learn eating out behaviour sometime--ask Grandad and Gram how they handled the situation? Is he winning? Who can outlast who?

There is a good reason why I dislike taking Jordan out to eat for dinner... Meltdown sure to come! Crockpot recipes are the way to go until Thatcher learns that Mommy means business!

Oh boy, that sounds like SO much FUN! Tell Mommy to be patient - these days will pass all too quickly.

Lunch is highly overrated. Do I sense a new tradition of Sunday lunches at HOME while Master Boogs takes a nap?
