Since Daddy had to work Christmas Eve, I helped Mommy get everything ready. Besides packing the car and all that stuff, we had a very important task.... make sure we don't stink. If you've met my dog Rudy, you'll know he has bad breath. He also licks his paws which makes him stinky. With a four and a half hour car ride together it was very important he smell decent. Now- I don't have bad breath or lick my paws- but sometimes I still get stinky, too. So before my shower, Mommy let me help bathe Rudy!

AWWWWW how sweet. Is Rudy a willing participant in the shower? We have to fight to keep Corki out of the bathtub, she always wants to jump in with the kids. Then there is Comet, we'd have to carry him, whimpering and kicking all the way to the tub to get a bath.

Rudy looks pretty happy to me! If you figure out a way to improve the breath situation let me know. And don't bother suggesting tooth brushing. It doesn't help a lick when the dog likes to eat rabbit poop.
Thanks to both you and Rudy for cleaning up before coming to Seguin. It was great to kiss on a clean boy when he arrived! You look like you are having fun washing your big brother.
