A night in the backyard.

Last night I played in the back yard. I'm getting really good at climbing up the rock wall to the slide. Sometimes I show off and fall over backward when I'm done. Keep looking... you'll know it when you see it.

After sliding for a while, I decided to play with Rudy. I throw his toy and he runs after it.

...and then I run after him.

Then I get the toy back from him (sometimes I taste it, too.)

We can play for hours (okay... so neither of our attention spans are THAT long... but we play together for a while.)

Miss Kim, my babysitter is in charge of teaching me how to say, "De Plane! De Plane!" on our trips to pick up Mister Glen. I can't say it just yet... but I sure know what planes sound like.

I also played ball and picked flowers. I told you my attention span isn't all that long- what'd you expect?!

Ooooo, Thatcher, that toy can't taste good. You sure are good at climbing and sliding. Now you need to get use to swinging. You sure have learned a lot this year.

Cassidy is so jealous, we have packed away all her shorts. You sure look like you are having fun. And aren't our puppies the best playmates!

So glad you like to play outside. I hope that lasts a loooong time. Kids and outdoors makes perfect sense--not kids and electronics.

It looks like Mommy and Daddy made a good investment in putting in that big patio this summer. You and Rudy are really enjoying it.
